Philip,
The SDI connection is via a separate breakout box, not on the computer itself - there's one breakout box for composite, component and S-Video (Y/C) and another for SDI, which is connected to the optional SDI board. The DV option is another separate daughterboard; not sure where the connection is on that, though, as I don't have it...
BUT do I understand from what you say that if I want to use Version 8 I have to upgrade the P6000 board to the lossless-capable version? This is information I haven't had so far. I thought I could carry on using my original P6000. Can you point me to any information on this on the Media 100 website, for instance?
