I've heard from a few people that Firewire drives can be problematic when using them as your main drives, but that they're great for backing up and transferring large amounts of data.

If anyone has a definitive answer on if the Ultra ATA/66 (7200 rpm) internal G4 drives work well with Media 100 material (up to 300 kb) and AE material at "highest quality", it would be greatly appreciated.

As for the support, I'm 99% sure I'm not getting it but I just wanted to throw it out there in case somebody (not employed by M100) thinks it's worth it.
