DSR-250 and Scenalyzer

I have just discovered a problem with my DSR-250. I have about 8 hours of tape that I want to break down into individual scenes(datestamps) using scenalyzer, however when I use scenalyzer all I am getting is one big scene. I shot some video with my pd-150 and it works fine, but with the 250 I only get one big scene. The 250 did work about 6 months ago with scenalyzer, but I did send it in to Sony to get repairs and ever since I got it back it has not worked, is there a setting that I need to change ? It looks like there is no datestamp, how can I get this corrected ?
