Hey Boyd, great reviews! I hope you can post something from the project in the future, although I would guess there would be some serious legal issues. Keep us up to date.

Nancy, the Disney Concert Hall Gala was shot in HiDef using Sony cameras provided by Denali of Burbank, along with a full remote production truck. My camera was a BVP 950 with a Fujinon 20x lens. I was isoed on the conductor for all three nights, so Esa-Pekka Salonen is my new best friend. The concerts were directed by Gary Halvorson, who cut a line copy for each night, along with about five iso machines. There were additional roving ENG units shooting archival footage and interviews that will supposedly be cut into the broadcast. I am not positive the broadcast will be in HiDef 16x9. I know PBS letterboxes many widescreen shows in 14x9.

Wayne
