Shutter speed settings for Slow Motion
by

I am looking for some advice in obtaining footage that will work well for producing decent slow motion effects in post. I am using a Sony DSR 300AL and I know that I need to adjust (increase) my shutter speed to improve the quality for post. Does anyone recommend any settings that they have used and is there anything that I should be doing in addition to increasing my shutter speed? Also what are the pitfalls of increasing the shutter speed of the camera? I will be shooting both indoors and outdoors. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
David
