Thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunatly we enherited prem. pro. since the editor on this project used it. I am color correcting and de-interlacing the project in AE which after a few work arounds did except the prem. pro. project well but the sound issue became a real sticking point and we are having to resort to exactly what you suggested.
If Adobe wants to be a serious challenge to FCP and other NLE's it really needs to have a serious look at what it's going to take to compete. Just my opinion of course.
