Even with 2gig of RAM, normal PPro usage will eventually use up and all that RAM and your system will crash. Get FreeRAM XP (it's free!) and monitor your RAM use. If you have lots of PSD images, that will also crash your system. DON'T use PSD's. Use Tiff or Targas. There appears to be a problem where Premiere won't release RAM to the system.
