More evidence of the "Downward pull" on costs

In a previous message, I mentioned the blurb about the networks lowering production costs I went on to say, that these guys would begin to restructure costs across the industry.

It's easy for these executives to come out an announce what they're going to do. It's yet another to see the end results.

Jan. 10 issue of Variety reports that NBC (the network that began the current call for lowering production costs) has been "inundated" with proposals by stuidos and production companies to participate in the "low-cost" space. They (the production companies) had no choice and it's in their interest.

More evidence of the downward pull on production costs.
