I am not alan, and I don't propose to speak for him, but this is what I think:
It is a program that someone else wrote that does something that makes life easier for the user of particleIllusion - when they can't do it themselves. The program can't do everything for you. It IS possible to make a pretty convincing circle in pIllusion. This program will make a perfect one for you.
But it isn't part of pIllusion, and it isn't owned by wondertouch.
