Thanks Tim for the info.

As far as I'm concerned, we would have no problems airing spots like you described as PSA's, nor I believe would any other station in New York State. We get similar spots from our state government like this all the time (i.e. "Watch out for road construction", "Turn down your Thermostat to save Energy")--spots that more informative than your normal "Give to this entity so that we can wipe out this problem" PSA's.

I would still check with your legal, but I'm willing to bet my Creative Cow T-Shirt (which I value highly) that you'll be able to go ahead.
