How would I go about creating this cool effect ?

Hello all, I have a question, I dont want to recreate the exact same thing, I'd like to create my own background image , but how does it suppose to look so it gets this 3d feel to it?
Also I'm lookin for a way to animate it the same way as the footage shows, this tunnel-like effect, any ideas ?
