Path Animation Challenge

Hey guys! I have to animate a pie chart for a client. For instance: 25% grows to 75% and vice versa. Which I know it isn't that hard if I slice a couple of cylinder primatives, and animate the angles, etc ... However, he would like a fillet on inside of each slice to give it some dimension (and not just on the outer radius of the entire pie). So I tried using paths, and I added an Extrude NURBS filters too each slice (with fillet checked). This gives me a bevel all the way around each slice. But how can I animate the corner points of each slice, to rotate around the center point? Do you follow me? 25% slice grows to 75% slice. Thanks in advance.
