Hi Jorge,

First read and experiment with the information given in the manual on IK, bones, and weighting. I've played with IK/Bones some and let me tel you, it's a very difficult process, especially in the beginning.

Setting up a full human figure to walk, flail his arms, etc, is quite a project to bite off in the beginning. It's a lot of work even for those who are experts at it. I'd start with some thing that has maybe two or three bones (like a leg or a finger), and learn to animate that inside and out.

All this being said there is a plug-in set called Golem (developed by Donovan keith) coming out in the next couple of months that will simplify the whole process for you greatly. Everybody who has ever tried to do CA in C4d is excitedly waiting for it's release. I know that every CA project I ever started is on hold until this thing is released.

So, for now, I'd suggest you start with something much simpler, and work your way up from there.

Mark Simpson
