Yes, from my broadcast perspective, I'd say learn Cinema. You can't go wrong with it--in broadcast, especially. Most designers are mac-based, and Cinema is an app that designers are gravitating to more and more because it's easy enought for non-techie designers to work out, and because it plays so well on a mac. You really can't go wrong with ANY of the main apps, but if you have a full-time job already and aren't obsessed about the marketability thing, it's a great choice, even if the very BEST work in broadcast seems to be done in Maya. Don't worry about that for now, you won't max out Cinema's capabilities. Once you see how well you can customize and key-assign ANY function, you'll be in love--and home hours earlier.
