Well, I've written a bunch of COFFEE stuff and I'm quite impressed with the current state of Xpresso and believe that as Xpresso evolves it will become the 'de-facto' scripting language for C4D. I've also written a couple of plug-ins using the C++ SDK so I'm not biased one way or the other. I'm comfortable with C++ as well as the more visual Xpresso scripting model. I prefer Xpresso thus far. Around every corner is yet another surprise in Xpresso.
