Yea, Torrey and I were at Apple traning and I brought a 1200a with HD-SDI out and tried to capture 1080i uncompressed and it seems like a problem with how FCP is writing to the drives or possibly how the Decklink Driver is writing those files.
It will not even attempt to capture it will say File I/O error before it even tries to capture, unless the capture audio and video to seperate file box is checked them it's ok, even if they are going to the same folder on the same RAID.
I've seen this outside of the training as well.
