parray with materials
by robert teixiera on Jun 29, 2002 at 3:02:07 am

I am fairly new to 3d max...so any help would be appreciated.

I was following the tutorial on how to create a chunky explosion using parray at 3d cafe

http://www.maxhelp.com/content/tutorials/parray/parray.htm

It's working fine, but is it possible to put a bit mapped material on the exploded pieces? I have the material on the original object, then I tried to drag it onto the parray. The object went gray, (as if it did it, I just needed to render it to see it) but it never rendered...
any suggestions?
