Re: Chroma Keying - correcting myself

I'll concur that my favorite keying plug-ins are DVMatte Pro 1.5 followed by Boris Continuum Complete (and Red) keyer. My own testing (and I admit not very extensive-- just on several shots) is that applying G Nicer to the footage will ultimately produce a cleaner key than Apple's 4:1:1 smoother. This comes at the price of additional rendering time but I think it's worth it. I only can attest to one experience of capturing DVCAM over SDI and it appeared to me that the key was cleaner than the same footage captured over firewire. Meanwhile, I do find this a fascinating discussion and one that I hope Jerry, Graeme, Philip, Wally and I can continue next year at our regular seats in the Stardust Bar.
