I FIRED MY CLIENT !!!!!!

Well, while I'll miss the little bit 'o cash they offered from time to time, I decided to fire a few clients today.
After a week (or three) of re-plumbing my entire home and my wife going into the hospital for a minor collapse, I decided that I'm just too damned young to be working for beans...
Here's the jist of it.
I was walking door to door about a year ago. I ran into a local shop to see if I might be of service (After seeing their ad on the tube, I knew they needed help.). I sold 'em on the spot. (6) ads over 6 months for around $200 per ($1,200), 'cause they were just blank screen with lots of titles. We ran him to the top of the flagpole in about a month and made him a lot of money. We were even available when we would not have been for other clients.
After two weeks without a reply on our "annual increase statement" we sent to him, we made the attempt to call him up. He wanted to wait until he had some new ideas......uh, yeah!
Well, I thought it through. While I have a few cheapie companies that I do my own kind of "pro-bono" work for, we have other arrangements. Like the health club....everyone on my staff, and their families have annual memberships and we still get nearly $1,000 per from them. My comic book chain....friends from home who are generally good folks...besides they save me all of my collectibles and even they offer me a sizeable cash sum for my time..and take me and my crew to lunch EVERY SHOOT.
This guy, the low-baller, ran a mortgage company...and since already own my home outright...so he's not going to be of any help and he is bleeding my patience.
The last straw was this AM when he called me back to ask if I could change "two numbers" in an ad we completed two months ago due to his error...and he didn't want to pay for the time to have it done!!! In the words of the little girl in Forst Gump, "Dear, God...make me a bird...so I can fly far...far away from here....so I don't crush his skull like a mango"...(OK, I added the last part.)
YOU'RE FIRED!! What a feeling of complete power; total bliss; inconceivable happiness when I heard him say, "Well, I guess your competition could use my business?". I told him unabashedly, "My competition could DEFINATELY use more of your kind. Please, let me dial for you.".....What a total ass.
Now. I'm not worried about the repercussions as he isn't well liked and certainly isn't a "pillar" of society, but I am sorry for being so mean......NOT!
Happy day,
Michael Munkittrick
PS- I'd mention the other two that got the ole' boot, but the content was roughly the same...minus the verbal exchanges and insults....
