You've tried to spawn a debate - which I'm not against on other topics. However, you said a few rude things that makes your point now worthless to me.

You said not to "squash the rumour"? I specifically said to "LABEL" as such - never to "squash" anything. I have every right to not "bother reading" something posted - don't tell me that I'm "arrogant" and what I am doing is "totally unacceptable". I don't need the stress, so don't go there again. Those are personal attacks just burning for a reply, but the only reply I have is stop while you're ahead.

I believe Darren and I are on the same page - post what you want regarding rumors or opinions, but have common courtesy to indentify ASAP in the post where you are coming from.

Something of note - I worked in a newsroom (ABC affiliate) for 5 years, so yes I have a preference for fact and not fiction. This is not the National Enquirer - it's a forum for sharing factual information.

If it's such a big deal to focus on facts - I personally will skip posts from people not willing to indentify their information. Although rumors will always persist - we're not going to turn this forum into a "rumor mill".

I'd like to stop this thread right now - at least until Darren replies. I'm doing to much talking for the two of us...I'd like him to respond. (If he wishes to, of course!)
