Keep in mind that the Samsung SIR-T165 has two major flaws---no brightness, contrast, and color saturation adjustment in the OSD; and the "Pilar" aspect ratio (4 x 3) in the analog mode (non-HD channel) is horizontally expanded causing circles to look like ovals. The zoom mode is OK and the "pilar" and other modes are perfect in the HD channel mode. Some of the HD transmissions
require a lot of brightness increases and color saturation adjustments. I know for sure as I have the Samsung (second one, the first one smoked). This as viewed on a Sony KV-34HS510. The same conditions exist weather in DVI or component video mode. Also if feeding the DVD player into the T165 the 4 x 3 aspect is distorted the same way. I sent them an "E" mail two weeks ago and they have not answered me. Also of all the networks FOX is the worst for quality in HD transmissions---it stinks. The MY-HD computer card does not have the flaws that the T165 does. I have that too.
