Yeah, exactly! When you're talking about needing the kind of throughput that 4 uncompressed streams takes, why mess around?

Unfortunately working at a PBS station that gets equipment like this as a gift in a 'grant' leaves you open to the lowest bidder situation where they win by fudging some specs... casting all concerns for '4 streams of uncompressed' haphazardly into the wind.

Well, at least we have over 800gig...
