I think you missed my point... but anyway, Discreet is notorious for overcharging, a DAE 180 gig 10 drive Ultra 160 SCSI fibre array can be had on ebay for about $500... the point is not performance though, it's access to the software in a USABLE/LEARNABLE manner... not the fastest manner.
