Hi Marco,

We're testing the new ADTX L Series in a SAN environment. Running only half of the array (seven drives) we're able to do six layers of 8-bit uncompressed or five layers of 10-bit uncompressed. I believe the G5 runs out of juice before the array (I've only got 4GB of RAM).

Tomorrow we'll be testing the array with two Io systems and one CineWave system. For 20K it's really a cost effective SAN solution. By-the-way in single user mode we've seen speeds almost 330MB/sec, enough for dual stream HD. We'll be testing with the DeckLink HD card next week. Could be some surprises in store.

Bart
