I'd venture to say that in effect you are the guinea pig (sp?)
You are running a G5-- brand new. You are running AJA io-- version 1.0 (that's a ZERO there, pal). You are probably running some form of Smeagol or OS X.2.7 or maybe even Panter version X.2.3, which in effect is a dot zero of that. You say you are running QT 6.4-- that's brand new.
Huge isn't fully qualified yet, as far as I know, with the G5 or the AJA io. Only thing that is is Apple's own X-Serve.
So it's a bummer and I feel your pain, but man you are out there where few have treaded and those that are doing so are taking where the sun don't shine.
Think I'll hang back w/ the tried and true until mid-next year.
good luck to you pal.
