jsut checked out Borisfx.com and found a compatibility chart. Helps a bit but ultimately is not very helpful for us Mac people given the discrepancy b/w Mac and PC video cards of the same nomenclature (my 9000 is 64mb while many PC 9000s are 128mb).
Nice render chart showing speed boosts. The render engine is well worth the upgrade.
BTW...reminds me of something that bugs me in 3GL. I can use the 3D handles to rotate, twist, spin, etc. However if a certain action takes the object off screen I can't move it any further. For example. If I wanted to make a spline move horizontally until it is off screen to the right (and my preview window is on the right) then I can only move it half way since the motion stops as soon as my cursor hits the edge of the sreen. If I could grab the object at any point rather than dead center it would take care of this....
make sense?
