Navigation for presentation...help!

Hi folks
I am new to DVD authoring, but have to fulfill my project with DVD navigation. Quite straightforward but...need Your advise, help.
I'm preparing a presentation - it is a motion graphics and stuff ( after effects).
All i need is to make NAVIGATION to this presentation. It schould run like follows:
-Play-presentation starts first Topic and goes to certain point when it MUST stop and display last frame of what was played.
-When it is needed PUSH next chapter button - and presentation starts to play from last stop WITH NO delay or with minimum delay , but absolutely without Blackscreen. ( all this within one topic )
Then next topic starts and so on..

All presentation will be like this example with many chapterpoints within one Topic, and about 10 topics.
My question is how to make this chapterpoints run smoothly one from another (diffrent timelines instead on just one with chapterpoints ??? )AND an END ACTION of Topic - i schould have "previous chapter button" to go backward one step within topic , BUT i must retain the possibility of going back whole topic...
This is crutial for me - and since i am not experienced with DVD's Your help will save me.
