Ok so if I put the AVI into AE and then export it as in the right resolution, will I be loosing qualiy? Whats the best way to export it? I see there is an option called Make Movie, which has a loseless quality option, is that what I should use? Or just to export it?

When you said the alternative was to make another AVI, what do you mean?
