Hi John-
To set a poster frame, you need to:
1. Highlight the chapter point you are linking to (there's always a default "Chapter 1" if you haven't made any others).
2. Put the current time indicator on the frame where you want the poster frame to be.
3. Right-click on the Chapter point icon and choose "Set Poster Frame". A new icon will appear where the current time indicator is.
You may need to close and reopen the menu editor to see the thumbnail update- sometimes Encore doesn't do that properly.
The timecode of the poster frame can also be specified by highlighting the chapter point icon and going into the Properties palette and changing the value in the "Poster" field.
