Jay BlanchardMonitor Shows B&W Image w/Pink & Green Splotches...

I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me, as I'm completely perplexed.

I create a short MPEG-2 file using iFinish Real-Time encoder, CBR 1-pass, 4:2:0. The same way that I make all of my MPEG-2's and I've never had a problem.

I previewed my .mpv files in both QuickTime player (using the MPEG-2 playback component) and Windows Media Player. Looks perfect.

However, when I import the file into Encore, the preview (from the timeline, the little preview box in the assets area, or File--Preview) shows a black & white image with purple and green ghosting patterns over it. I've tried transcoding the files (which shouldn't be necessary) but that didn't help.

Any ideas?
