With erratically, do you mean something like this: You have drawn the arrow for the remote's "right" key from button 1 to button 2, but when you are playing the DVD on a set top player and hit the "right" key it goes from button 1 to button 3 instead?

Is there at least one button (the default one) on the menu that isn't set to "auto activated"?
