Try recapturing the files that are causing you the problem from the camera masters... If it only happens with them, recapturing them might clear up the problem. You have no options with iDVD to change... it's a one size fits all sort of compression that goes on. You should not need to export a movie which is self contained either. If you do, you copy the original media files... if you leave that option checked off the computer will reference the original media files instead. Do render it all first however.
