Update:
As all else failed, I reverted to v1.0. Lo and behold - the problem disappeared.
To restate the problem, during first play on a set top player, if menu button is pressed, the play should skip to TOP / ROOT menu. This is not happening with V1.2. The play stops. This works when tested using DVDWS plater.
I already have a problem with V1.3. When making Image file, the procedure stops after about 2 to 3 minutes of image.
I presume I have a system which is incompatible with DVDWS although I do not understand why a software only procedure of making a DVD image file should be affected by hardware.
The motherboard is ASUS P4B running windows 2000 sp3.
