Hey Mike.

A couple of hints:
[michael belanger] "hdcam at 23.97 ntsc "
There is no such thing as NTSC 23.97 - and no, DV-CAM does not support it either.

It is correct that you can do a pull-down to 29.97 NTSC and use that for your offline. There is a variety of tools and ways to do this with. However, you want to make sure that you can return and do a OnLine with your 23.97 material from the 29.97 edl. There is only one way forward, and that is to do your own tests and make sure that your workflow works! (The only other way is to pay someone to do it for you)
