Sean Fairburn operated. In camera menues only.

Lucas used remote head 950 for the miniatures, recording onto disk. Anything with actors was shot HDCAM with Panvised f900 or later with 950 and f500

"Anyone knows why did Lucas select F950 instead of the Viper? The Viper has Cinemascope aspect ratio, I believe."
I guess sony would not give him the SR decks without the camera. Also he needs to record 16 x9 for DVD. (Last Star Wars did not protect 16 x 9 and have apparently regretted it.) Also Cinemascope mode on the Viper has a few issues. Isn't it strange no one has shot a scope movie on a Viper?

Lucas is supposedly using Fuji lenses, not anamorphic. I guse he'll have to do letterboxing. I suppose he did letterboxing on the last flick, didn't he?

Letterboxing to 700 or so lines is what comprised the final print. Described as "dubious math" by the DP. Lucas changed from Panavision lenses at the end of the principle shooting. Went to Fuji for pickups and the model work. Actually didn't use the Panavised camera again, prefering to use his own 950s and f500s.

No such thing in the real world as scope lenses for 2/3 inch cameras. Sony hype campaign convinced the film community that SWAOTC was shot in scope.
