It might sound unusual but just think about it. You don't need keykode to start cutting. You need picture and sound. Keykode data will come with telecined dailies as teleciné log or burn-in. You will have to manually replace every clip in your cut with telecined clip. It is not as hard as it sounds.


TC on film camera doesn't appear very helpful to me - just some extra numbers to track.
