Busted Firewire

Well, I've read the threads on this, and decided to chime in. I've had my dvx for about 2 weeks now. I've shot a few times and captured a few times, but this morning the firewire totally crapped out on me. I tried different cables, different computers, and different cameras with those cables/computers. Everything works but the big daddy Panny. Who should I call about this? Panasonic? BH Photo (where I bought it)? Will they repair it or replace it? How much of a hassle, etc. etc. What have your experiences been with malfunctions?
