Greetings!

I am about to edit VariCam footage for the first time for an independent feature. I need to pick up a deck tomorrow (L.A. area) and start cutting. I have heard that settings on the AJ can be somewhat overwhelming and wondered if anyone had any pointers. Also, is there a "hot tip" for rental houses around L.A. (cost and assistance being factors).
