Steve,

I want to thank you again for lurking here and helping us all out with your expertice on your Panasonic products!

BTW, would you comment on my suspicion that the factory default on menu #020 SYS FORMAT is incorrect. Shouldn't the default be for 720p rather than 1080i? Does the firmware upgrade correct this? What exactly does the firmware upgrade do?

And finally, is there a problem with the DV card, failing on hot patch?
