Thank you so much for the replies, but are there any Varicam shot features in cinemas that anyone knows of?
Or second best, any HD channel (HDnet, HBO HD or Showtime HD) Varicam shot programmes. My point is that I'd really like to see what the Varicam 24p look is when projected on a 10ft or larger screen, after film transfer. I have a feeling that "Robbery - Homicide division" on HDnet may be shot on a Varicam, from the look, but I'm not at all definite, but of course it would be aired as a 1080i uprez and not film-transferred, which is not really what I'm looking for.

Also, does the DVCPRO HD codec support 1080 / 24p native editing? On FCP HD I only see options for 720p or 1080 / 60i codecs.

Thanks

Paul
