I planned for a little more than 50 GB per hour of DVCPRO HD, but it seem sthat some of the numbers discussed in the thread don't match up with 50 GB. The project I am working on is being shot 24p on the Varicam. Can someone tell me how to properly calculate the storage based on the frame rate so I don't spend more on an Xserve Raid than I need to.

And thanks for all of the helpful posts everyone. Much appreciated. If I could only find someone with a HD1200A deck to actually view the camera test we did.

Tangier
