Yes the AJ-HD130 will record 1080p 23.976 + 2:3 ( the deck will think it's simple 1080i 29.97 The deck will not remove the 2:3 upon playback, you'll need some form of inverse processing, Cinetools? PLEASE ensure that the 2:3 is locked and is phased as per SMPTE TC 00:00:00:00 for A frame phasing.

I think you referrring to the longer 1/2 Japanese / 1/2 English version.
