Andy, you're right about the end product from my experience. It usually is VHS for final playback. Actually, in our case, we're distributing corporate videos on business card CDs and our clients are very happy with them. That means poorer quality than VHS. The CDs are much easier for marketing because very few members of the B2B target audiences have VCRs and TVs in their offices. They love the idea of watching a video on a CD, then being able to click to email and contact the person who sent it to them.



In our small market, we have found the AVID payments to be painful. I look forward to replacing it with the least expensive, yet reliable system. If FCP or even AVID DV will do that, then fantastic. No customers seem to care. They don't even recognize the AVID name.
