After first reading just the subject line, what a major disapointment that someone is finally discussing squishing Stinton and THIS is what the actual topic is!

Seriously, if you took the footage through a pass of After Effects wherein you "letterboxed" it - ie - added black bands above and below, but still rendered out to the 4:3 aspect wouldn't that accomplish it? Granted it would not be a fast approach, but it would work.
